Abandonment

Seat Stealer is gone again and I think it might be forever. Interloper is gone too. Food Lady, Rice Chips, and Elusive Man keep leaving all day. I do not like this. I am not supposed to be left alone!
I am sitting on Food Lady right now. I think this is what I will do from now on--sit on the people. They cannot leave if I am holding them down!
It is also cold in the house. Very cold. Rice Chips has a fleece blanket with sheep on it and I think I am going to steal it. I love it more than she does so it should be mine.

Date: 2011-09-24 11:11 pm (UTC)I am having abandonment issues, too. The Lady has started going out early in the morning every day and not coming home for hours and hours. Sometimes, when she does come home she takes things out of her horrible bag and looks at them for more hours! It is horrible.
To make it worse, when she started this a couple of weeks ago, that Tasha, as she calls herself, was left with us. This meant my Lady split her time between us. Then Tasha ripped a hole in my bedspring box and the Lady would not let her - or ME - into my bedroom unless she was there. I warned away Tasha with growling and hissing when she did it, but she kept at it!
I hate everyone! This is not how my life goes! Gr-r-r-r!

Date: 2011-10-05 02:48 am (UTC)You should not believe the lies told by that Paddy. I have told you before about her wretched behavior, so clearly she is an untrustworthy cat. The person you should feel sorry for over the incident Paddy described is obviously me, since my lady abandoned me at the house of the aunt-person. It wouldn't have been so bad if Paddy hadn't been there as well, since the aunt-person understands about cheese. But why she lets that Paddy stay there I do not understand.
I don't understand either why my lady abandoned me like that. It's true that the aunt-person had abandoned Paddy at my house before, but that is clearly understandable, since I would want to abandon her too. But why would anyone, far less my own lady, abandon ME???
As for the box spring, it was already ripped up (probably by Paddy, since she ripped up her couch the very next week, when my lady abandoned me AGAIN - but that's another story). All I did was widen the hole just a tiny bit, so that I could have a nice quiet place to curl up and be alone with my misery. The aunt-person wouldn't even have noticed if Paddy had kept her mouth shut, but oh no, she had to start hissing and growling and ruin my sanctuary. You see what kind of cat she is. At least I am back at home now, with my lady, so everything is the way it should be again.
