You should not believe the lies told by that Paddy. I have told you before about her wretched behavior, so clearly she is an untrustworthy cat. The person you should feel sorry for over the incident Paddy described is obviously me, since my lady abandoned me at the house of the aunt-person. It wouldn't have been so bad if Paddy hadn't been there as well, since the aunt-person understands about cheese. But why she lets that Paddy stay there I do not understand.
I don't understand either why my lady abandoned me like that. It's true that the aunt-person had abandoned Paddy at my house before, but that is clearly understandable, since I would want to abandon her too. But why would anyone, far less my own lady, abandon ME???
As for the box spring, it was already ripped up (probably by Paddy, since she ripped up her couch the very next week, when my lady abandoned me AGAIN - but that's another story). All I did was widen the hole just a tiny bit, so that I could have a nice quiet place to curl up and be alone with my misery. The aunt-person wouldn't even have noticed if Paddy had kept her mouth shut, but oh no, she had to start hissing and growling and ruin my sanctuary. You see what kind of cat she is. At least I am back at home now, with my lady, so everything is the way it should be again.
