So my life is pretty routine for the most part, and that's how I like it. I have a schedule and I don't really like to deviate from it. But sometimes there are exceptions. Like last night! Last night something very special happened. Elusive Man let his guard down and left his bedroom door open!
Well, I am ever-vigilant, so naturally I didn't miss my chance. Normally I would have been huffing my cat litter at that point, because Food Lady was scooping my litter box and that's when she opens the container of fresh litter. And I really, really like to stick my face in there and sniff. It's amazing!
But Elusive Man opened his door, and I had to make a quick decision. So I ran into his room and bolted under the bed before he could stop me. It was so magical! So many new things! I don't understand why he won't let me in there normally. I mean, I think I am pretty charming and handsome. But he doesn't, and that makes me sad.
The other sad thing is that Elusive Man tricked me into leaving the room not long after I got there. He dangled a string and I couldn't resist chasing it, and then he led me right out the door. It was a dirty trick, and I probably won't ever forgive him. But at least I had those two minutes of magic. I'll cherish them forever.
